Dog-Friendly Holidays

Home is where the dog isDog Friendly

Our self-catering cottages and Drimnin House are dog-friendly, so no matter if it’s just you and the pedigree pooch or your extended family and their mutts, we have the right place for you. Please let us know at the time of booking if you wish to bring dogs. We do charge a small additional fee of £20 per week per dog.

Please note, however, that the Achnacriche Bed & Breakfast is not dog-friendly.

Exercise, a great stress reliever for humans and hounds

Dog FriendlyFor salty sea dogs - both human and canine - the Sound of Mull has crystal clear water, perfect for practicing doggy paddle. Enjoy a quick stretch of the legs along the estate tracks or all-day hikes across mountains and moor.

Small things make all the difference

Countless hours of frolics and fun have inevitable side effects so all of Dog Friendlyour properties have outside taps, dedicated dog towels and a treat or two to help refuel. We know your canine companions may not be agility champions so our footpaths have gates and, where a stile is unavoidable, there are always dog gates alongside.

For all but the most agile or tiny dogs, there are enclosed gardens in all of our accommodation or, at the Lodge, a securely fenced area just across the track from the front door.

Leave only paw prints

Nobody minds the odd paw print or two but, so that we can continue welcoming dogs we do ask that you:

• Please tidy up after them, both indoors and in the garden.
• Keep them under control, especially when in the presence of livestock.
• Do not allow them on the furniture or beds.
